The conference is in line with the earlier successful Gothenburg Life Science Conferences (earlier Functional Genomics since 1998). The focus of this year´s conference is Sustainable production of fuels and chemicals and organized by Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg as a 2 days conference, August 19-20, 2010. On August 18th a special student´s session will be held.
The conference will cover the following topics: - Production of biofuels
- Impact of systems biology on industrial biotechnology
- Sustainable production of chemicals
In connection with the conference there will be organized a panel discussion on the impact of industrial biotechnology on the Swedish Society. Check the web-site for details on program, social events and registration. http://www.sysbio.se/ISB2010 As usual, a poster exhibition will be arranged.
Looking forward to seeing you at Chalmers.
